THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS BUT THE LORD’S

When we fast and pray something happens. The LORD comes to our intervention and those thing’s that we thought are big become small

The battle belongs to God rather than to the individuals facing the conflict.Fasting and prayer trigger divine intervention from the Lord and that God responds directly when His people engage in fasting and so The Spirit of the Lord provides specific guidance and messages during times of assembly and seeking.

The bible underlines purpose of word as due to what happened when Jehoshaphat king of Judah fasted with all the resident’s that were in the cities of Judah as due to their enemies that were planning to come against them

When they fasted, God responded.

The spirit of the LORD came on Jahaziel who said.. The battle is not yours but God’s 2 Chronicles 20:14-15
[14]Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly.[15]He said, Hearken, all Judah, you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

From a realised perspective of note, There is a guaranteed reward for performing actions that are considered right in the sight of the Lord.

Divine rewards for spiritual work may not be granted immediately but will manifest over time.

Jehu is highlighted as a primary biblical example of someone who acted according to the Lord’s will.
The Lord explicitly acknowledged and commended the actions taken by Jehu.
Jehu was responsible for executing divine judgment upon the house of Ahab.
The judgment carried out by Jehu also extended to Jezebel.
Because of his obedience, the Lord granted Jehu a significant generational blessing.
The specific reward for Jehu’s faithfulness was the establishment of a royal lineage in that
Four generations of Jehu’s descendants were promised the throne of Israel.2 Kings 10:30[30]And the Lord said to Jehu, Because you have executed well what is right in My eyes and have done to the house of Ahab as I willed, your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on Israel’s throne. [Fulfilled in II Kings 15:12.] As thus when we are committed to that which is right in the LORD’S sight.. we should thus expect a reward

From a defined perspective in view of thought , we realise that the reign of Jehoram was realised by his failure to follow the righteous example of his father, Jehoshaphat.

The Lord struck Jehoram with a fatal intestinal disease as a direct consequence of his actions.2 Chronicles 21:18-19[18]And after all this, the Lord smote [Jehoram] with an incurable intestinal disease.[19]In process of time, after two years, his bowels fell out because of his disease. So he died in severe distress. And his people made no funeral fire to honor him, like the fires for his fathers.

Jehoram led the entire nation into sin by establishing high places in the cities of Judah
2 Chronicles 21:11[11]Moreover, he made idolatrous high places in the hill country of Judah and debauched spiritually the inhabitants of Jerusalem and led Judah astray [compelling the people’s cooperation].

In a ruthless pursuit of power, Jehoram murdered all of his own brothers and so The Lord incited the Philistines and Arabs to launch an attack against Jehoram.
Invading forces who seized all of Jehoram’s personal possessions, His wives, leaving him isolated.

All of Jehoram’s sons were taken away during the conflict, except for the youngest as thus we realise that not doing what The Lord has instructed us to do leads to a downfall

Don’t let the purpose of God over your life be cut short because of your disobedience

The chronology that causes us to be defeated in the purpose of God over what He has intended to do in our lives is as a result of our disobedience and disconnecting our selves from Him and from all that He has prioritized to do in our lives

Disobedience and rebellion are the primary reasons individuals fail to fulfill the divine purpose intended for their lives.

Disconnecting from the Creator prevents the manifestation of His priorities in a person’s life.

The original plan for Jeroboam, son of Nebat, was for his dynasty to endure permanently and so a lasting legacy was contingent upon walking in the ways of the Lord.1 Kings 11:38[38]And if you will hearken to all I command you and will walk in My ways and do right in My sight, keeping My statutes and My commandments, as David My servant did, I will be with you and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

Jeroboam’s failure to follow divine instructions resulted in his prosperity being cut short and so we realise in view that rebellion acts as a direct barrier to the fulfillment of spiritual plans and that you shouldn’t think of rebelling against the Lord

We realise that King David possessed a multifaceted purpose that extended beyond his role as a legal adjudicator.

He was a divinely gifted craftsman with the specific skill to create musical instruments and The primary purpose of these handmade instruments was to praise and give thanks to the LORD.

The same instruments David crafted were utilized during the official dedication of the Temple under King Solomon.

The priests supported the musical ministry by blowing trumpets before the assembly.
The entire nation of Israel as the nation participated in these worship ceremonies by standing in reverence.
David’s contributions enabled a specific form of ministry through praise as reflected in The book of 2 Chronicles 7:6 ]The priests stood at their posts, and the Levites also, with instruments of music to the Lord, which King David had made to praise and give thanks to the Lord–for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever–whenever David praised through their ministry; the priests blew trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

And so this scripture serves as the historical record for David’s craftsmanship.

We also realise that the continuity of worship tools from David to Solomon highlights a legacy of devotion and sincere commitment to the worship and praising of the Lord

From a realised perspective, we note that the depth of your love for God is directly reflected in your actions and service towards Him.

What an individual contributes to the house of the Lord serves as a primary measure of their devotion to the Father.

Love for the Lord should transcend the value of any earthly possessions or worldly wealth and that True devotion is demonstrated when believers do not allow material riches to limit their offerings.

The biblical account of King Solomon’s preparation towards the dedication of the temple as reflected in 1 Kings 8:5[5]King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who had assembled before him were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, so many that they could not be reported or counted serves as the ultimate example of sacrificial giving.

Solomon and the congregation of Israel demonstrated their love by offering sacrifices that were too numerous to be counted.The scale of the offerings—including sheep and oxen—was so vast that they could not be officially reported and so The abundance of the gifts offered during the dedication exceeded all standard measures of necessity and as to thus, we are reminded to ensure that our love for God should not be restricted by what we own.

From a relatable perspective in view to beseech , we realise that Spiritual predictions originating from the LORD are impossible to arrest or stop.

Divine prophecies must occur exactly as the LORD has foretold they will happen.
It is impossible for a human to arrest or prevent a judgment declared by the LORD.

The LORD dispatched a specific messenger to prophesy judgment against King Jeroboam.
The prophecy of judgment extended beyond the King to include the specific altar he was using.
The altar in question was identified as a pagan altar used for burnt offerings.

The LORD declared that a specific son named Josiah would be born to the house of David who would perform a specific sacrificial act upon that pagan altar.

The prophecy stated that priests of the high places would be sacrificed on the altar by Josiah and so we realise in this that the word of the LORD serves a definitive and unstoppable purpose declaring divine decrees regarding future events

GOD DETERMINED CONTINUED WARS FOR ASA BECAUSE OF HIS FAILURE TO DEPEND ON THE LORD

According to purpose of note, we realise that Humanity must depend entirely on the LORD as He is the sole source of sustenance.

Without a connection to the LORD, individuals are unable to accomplish anything and remain fruitless and so, The LORD actively desires for His followers to rely on Him in all circumstances.

King Asa of Judah serves as a primary example of a leader who failed to maintain his dependence on the LORD.Despite everything the LORD had previously done for him, King Asa eventually turned away from divine reliance.

When king Baasha king of Israel created a blockade to restrict movement in and out of King Asa’s territory.Faced with a crisis, King Asa chose human strategy over divine intervention.2 Chronicles 16:1-2
[1]IN THE thirty-sixth year of Asa’s reign, Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built (fortified) Ramah intending to intercept anyone going out or coming in to Asa king of Judah.[2]Then Asa brought silver and gold out of the treasuries of the house of the Lord and of the king’s house and sent them to Ben-hadad king of Syria, who dwelt at Damascus, saying,2 Chronicles 16:3[3]Let there be a league between me and you, as was between my father and your father. Behold, I am sending you silver and gold; go, break your league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may withdraw from me.

King Asa depleted the treasuries of the LORD’s temple to solve a political conflict.
The king used sacred resources to bribe the King of Damascus.
The goal of the bribe was to convince Damascus to break its existing treaty with Baasha king of Israel.This action demonstrated a lack of faith in the LORD’s ability to provide protection and so because of His failure to depend on the LORD.. The Lord said.. He would have continued wars

From an authentic perspective as per to say, we realise that the glory of God is the primary factor that makes an individual truly distinctive from others.

There is a profound and essential need for God’s glory in modern times beyond what can be expressed.

Fruitfulness in ministry is impossible without the presence of the glory of God.

A person’s personal walk with the Lord cannot be fruitful without His glory.

Success in everything God has called an individual to do depends entirely on His glory.

The necessity of the Lord’s glory exceeds what one can anticipate or even wish for.

Human effort alone is insufficient for fulfilling a divine calling.
The historical example of Solomon’s temple highlights the importance of seeking a physical manifestation of God’s glory above all other needs.

When Solomon was dedicating the temple that he built for the Lord, The glory of the Lord filled the temple
2 Chronicles 7:1 [1]WHEN SOLOMON had finished praying, the fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house.

There is a call for modern leaders to conceive educational plans based on divine purpose.2 Chronicles 17:7,9[7]Also in the third year of his reign he sent his princes Ben-hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah;[9]And they taught in Judah, and had the Book of the Law of the Lord with them; they went about throughout all the cities of Judah and taught among the people.

The King’s leadership style is highlighted as a significant historical perspective.

The law of the Lord is presented as the essential foundation for societal learning.
The King’s influence is described as both noticeable and widely acknowledged and in view Jehoshaphat’s reign serves as a model for integrating faith into public administration
