WHEN YOU DON’T LISTEN TO THE LORD YOU BECOME OF NO USE TO HIM.

Some people today don’t realise that they have become profitable for nothing in as far as the Lord’s purpose is concerned. 

They have refused to carry out the purpose of God upon their lives

They have refused to do that which The Lord has instructed to their way

What some people don’t realise is that whenever they do not listen to the Lord as per to what The Lord has instructed them to do.  Whenever they don’t harken to the instruction of the Lord.  They become of no use to the LORD.

They become like that Linen underwear Jeremiah 13:10 [10]These evil people, who refuse to hear My words, who walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and have gone after other gods to serve them and to worship them, shall even be like this girdle or waistcloth, which is profitable for nothing. As thus may we pray and ask the Lord to give us the grace so that we may be profitable to the purpose of His kingdom

a) According to our reflection perspective, what happens when we do not listen to the instruction of the Lord?

c) How come many people today are profitable for nothing?

Dear Lord Jesus help me not to be profitable for nothing before you in Jesus name amen 

People now day’s are delayed to do certain thing’s because of some predicaments whatsoever 

But your delay can sometimes be an hindrance to what the Lord has purposed to do in your life and with your life

When the Israelites delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord had given to them..Joshua asked them a question saying.  Why have you delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord has given you Joshua 18:3[3]Joshua asked the Israelites, How long will you be slack to go in and possess the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?Joshua 18:4[4]Provide three men from each tribe, and I will send them to go through the land and write a description of it according to their [tribal] inheritances; then they shall return to me.

a) According to perspective, which people delayed to possess the land which the Lord had given them?

b) What do you think may be one of the reasons as to why these people delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord had given them?

c) Give an analysed approach of due as related upon in perspective 

Dear Lord Jesus I come to you today and I pray that I will not delay to take part of what you have destined towards my life for the future in Jesus name Amen 

The challenge with many people now day’s is that they accept thing’s anyhow from people without inquiring of the Lord even when some of these thing’s may not be extremely conversant to their spiritual desire 

Don’t just accept thing’s anyhow in form of money, cars, gifts. Some of these thing’s you have to ask the Lord on whether you should receive them from those that have offered them to you.

 When the Israelites leaders brought offerings when Moses anointed and consecrated the tabernacle. The LORD said to Moses. Accept Numbers 7:4-5[4]Then the Lord said to Moses,[5]Accept the things from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service.as thus we shouldn’t just accept thing’s from people anyhow 

a) According to our teaching in view, should we accept thing’s anyhow from people?

b) Do you take time to inquire from the Lord before you accept some things from people 

c) Let us say, If The LORD had not spoken to Moses to accept these offerings from the people would he have accepted them?

d) What offerings did the leaders of Israel bring to the Lord as realised in perspective?

e) What did The Lord say Moses should use these offerings for?

f) Whom did The Lord say to Moses.. These offerings should be given to according to their purpose of service?

g) Give an acclamation of due as resulted upon in our teaching 

Dear Lord Jesus I pray that I will be instructed in your will concerning all that which you have called me for and that I will bring an offering to you that gives you glory and honour 

A Sabbath is a consecrated day of spiritual activity when we must gather with other’s to worship the LORD 

Today we have people who go to church on Sunday and those who go to church on other day’s as indifferent to their spiritual perspectives 

We also have those who don’t go to church at all in excuse that God is everywhere and that they find no need to go to church when God is everywhere 

There are things that God doesn’t give you an option to delude about especially whatever concerns fellowship and spiritual activities in view He doesn’t give you an option to think of whether you will do it or not but rather that you must do it according to the practice of all that He has observed you to do.

The LORD told Moses to tell the Israelites on how 

They must observe the Sabbath – for the Sabbath is a sign 

The Sabbath was a sign between God and the Israelites Exodus 31:13[13]Say to the Israelites, Truly you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you [set you apart for Myself].as thus we too should observe the day’s of our spiritual fellowship in gathering that have been set before us by our spiritual leaders

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that I will take fellowship  with you that though may dwell in your house forever AMEN

When some people become elevated to extent in various obligations of  ministry they forget the Lord   

When they get a certain connection that may seem to be sincere to their dream they forget the Lord.  

When they begin to accumulate money which they had never accumulated before they forget the Lord.  They forget the Lord to the extent and to the account of their selfish desire 

One of the thing’s that you shouldn’t think of doing is that of forgetting the Lord.  People forget the Lord when they fail to

Keep His ordinances 

keep His commandments 

keep His status Deuteronomy 8:11[11]Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His precepts, and His statutes which I command you today,

Deuteronomy 8:12[12]Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses and live in them,

a) According to instructions in view, How do people forget the Lord?

b) Give an analysed approach of perception as per to due 

c) Have you ever forgotten about the Lord along your way of life? If so ask forgiveness in this

d) According to precedence, what is that which we should be CAREFUL about? 

e) What were the Israelites told to be CAREFUL about in like manner?

Dear Lord Jesus. I pray that I will not forget you anyhow to the glory of your name Amen 

I have always wondered why some people are blessed  by the Lord while others are not. I came to find out that the reason why some people are blessed by the Lord is because they live according to the instructive purpose of the Lord in all that He has destined them to accomplish 

Many people are praying for a blessing from the Lord and forcing the Lord to give them a breakthrough through  whatsoever perspective of notice but the way they live their lives can’t really attract any blessing from the Lord whatsoever

God tells the Israelites on how he will give them a blessing if they  live according to the instruction that He has set before them Deuteronomy 11:27

[27]The blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day; as thus in order to attract the blessing of the Lord… we must live according to the commandment of the Lord 

a) Are you living according to the instruction that the Lord has set before you?

b) How can we position ourselves in order to attract the blessing of the Lord? 

c) What is one of the thing’s that has hindered God’s people from receiving blessings

SPECIALLY WOVEN GARMENTS FOR MINISTRY IN THE SANCTUARY .  

PRIESTLY GARMENTS

The reason why there is no presence of the Lord in some of our gathering is as a result of what we have chosen to put on in respect to the garments for ministry in the sanctuary starting from the priest to the choir to the instrumentalists … the deacons and elders.. all our garments must be fit to serve in the holy place just as it was in the old testament  Exodus 39:1[1]AND OF the blue and purple and scarlet [stuff] they made finely wrought garments for serving in the Holy Place; they made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

We shouldn’t dress up casually in church  just because we want to appeal to the generation.. as long as we are in for it for the PRIESTLY ministry we should put on specifically woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary as the Holy sanctuary of the Lord.  When we do this we honour the Lord in regard to the opportunity that He has given us

a) Do many of our people give attention to what they put on whenever they come to the house of the Lord?

b) Why is it important for us to mind what we put on whenever we come to the house of the Lord?

c) Why was it proper in the old testament for specially woven garments for ministry in the sanctuary to be made for the priests 

Dear Lord Jesus.. I pray for the grace to dress up in a way that gives you glory and honour whenever I come to the house of the Lord.  AMEN 

2 Samuel 7:15

The faithful love of God towards us is something that we shouldn’t take for granted.  

Just because God loves you doesn’t mean you should do something that is contrary to his will.

You shouldn’t slander His will

You shouldn’t slander His divine purpose for your life just because of His faithful love towards you

God’s faithful love to us is precious and thus shouldn’t be taken for granted.  

Saul wanted to continue with the faithful love of God but unfortunately God took away His faithful love from Him and thus God showed His faithful love to Solomon 2 Samuel 7:15 [15]But My mercy and loving-kindness shall not depart from him, as I took [them] from Saul, whom I took away from before you.

Dear Lord Jesus I come before you today and I pray that just as you did not take away your faithful love from Solomon so I shouldn’t loose your faithful love in Jesus name amen 

How do we set our face to the Lord? 

The challenge with this generation is that we have been distracted and we are continually distracted by things which we think are important yet in actual sense they are not important

We are distracted  from personal time in the presence of the Lord.  We are taken up by this and by our self degree of enterprise.

We are taken up by things that hold no value to the destiny God has for us 

From Daniel’s perspective, he talks about setting his face to the Lord to seek Him by prayer and supplication Daniel 9:3[3]And I set my face to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes; as thus we too should set our heart’s to seek the Lord by prayer and supplication

Dear Lord Jesus I pray tonight that I will set my heart to seek your face with an understanding of purpose amen

FROM THE DAY YOU PURPOSED TO HUMBLE YOURSELF YOUR PRAYERS WERE HEARD*

The book of Daniel is a clear reflection to us of what happens when we humble our selves before the Lord.  

When we humble ourselves before the Lord it’s on a high chance that the Lord will hear and respond to our prayers 

Scriptures talk about.. From the day that Daniel humbled himself before the Lord.  From that day Daniel humbled himself before the Lord.  What happened… Daniel’s prayers were heard and so the Angel came to give him understanding Daniel 10:12[12]Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words. As thus may we humble ourselves before the Lord to recieve that understanding that we need for ministry and for whatever the Lord has called us to accomplish in this world. 

a) What happened to Daniel when he humbled himself before the Lord?

b) As included to context what happens to our prayers when we humble ourselves before the Lord
