THE ISRAELITE ARMY AND THE PEOPLE FAST AND WEEP BEFORE THE LORD IN BESEECH FOR THE LORD’S RESPONSE

THE ISRAELITE ARMY AND THE PEOPLE  FAST AND WEEP BEFORE THE LORD IN BESEECH FOR THE LORD’S RESPONSE
According to precedence as realised upon, we note that there is a limitation of what man can do in his strength
If the entire Israelite army had to fast the whole day and weep before the LORD in response to an answer from the LORD about whether they should attack their brothers the Benjaminites for the last time then what about us. Judges 20:26[26]Then all the Israelites, the whole army, went up and came to the house of God [Bethel] and wept; and they sat there before the Lord and fasted that day until evening and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.
When the Israelite army inquired of the LORD, The LORD told them to attack the Benjaminites and that He would hand over them to them and by that time the next day
Judges 20:27-28[27]And the Israelites inquired of the Lord–for the ark of the covenant of God was there [at Bethel] in those days,[28]And Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, ministered before it in those days–saying, Shall we yet again go out to battle against our brethren the Benjamites or shall we quit? And the Lord said, Go up, for tomorrow I will deliver them into your hand.
As thus, The LORD delivered the Benjaminites to the Israelites
Meditative question about the teaching
a) Is it good to inquire of the LORD as due to life’s predicaments? If so why is it good to inquire of The LORD as due to life’s predicaments
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to our context in view, which people wept before the LORD and offered burnt and fellowship offerings to the LORD?
b) Why did these people have to do it?
c) Acknowledge your interest in view as realised upon to Irony
d) What can be some of the lessons we can draw from our context study
e) In what ways can we apply our teaching to our everyday life
f) Which place did the Israelite army go to weep and to sit before the LORD as realised thus in perspective
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus. Am grateful for this adjudication of truth and I pray that you will align my life to the divine procedure of your will in Jesus name

MORE DISCIPLES TO BE MADE

MORE DISCIPLES TO BE MADE.
STAY IN GOD’S MANDATED PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE
Mark 16:15[15]And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].
It’s unfortunate that some of the people that are joining ministry today have become money makers instead of disciple makers
Recently I saw some people say, our church is much more richer than your church in terms of material wealth, our pastor is the most wealthiest amongst the pastors of today. Our pastor has travelled more nations than your pastor.  All those are lies and mere pathetic sentiments  from the devil to divert us from the true mission of the gospel outreach
If you’re to calculate the number of the total global population, you will realise that many of the  people that by pass you on the streets everyday  are not yet disciples
They are still entrenched in the world and by the  system’s of sin-  question are you going to let your brother or sister die in sin……………………………?
Solution is to preach the GOSPEL without merit of personal want and He the Lord will supply your needs as you do this  according to his riches in glory Philippians 4:19[19]And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What is the major purpose of the church as realised in perspective?
b ) Do many people seem to understand what the major purpose of the church is ?
c) Have you been able to preach the gospel.. the good news wherever The LORD has given you an opportunity?
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I ask for the grace to stay in your mandated plan for my life in Jesus name Amen

CONSEQUENCES KING SIHON ENCOUNTERED AS A RESULT OF FAILURE TO SHOW KINDNESS TO PEOPLE

CONSEQUENCES KING  SIHON ENCOUNTERED AS A RESULT OF FAILURE TO SHOW KINDNESS TO PEOPLE .
The Chronological aspect of this teaching brings us to a season of knowing what we should do and what we should not do along our life’s pilgrimage
It’s important to be kind to people most especially when they are in their season of need.
Scriptures relate an incidence when one day the Israelites wanted to pass through the land of sihon king of the AMORITES.
The Israelites sent messengers to the king of the amorites as due to their purpose of request.  The man refused.  Numbers 21:21-22[21]And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,
[22]Let me pass through your land. We will not turn aside into field or vineyard; we will not drink the water of the wells. We will go by the king’s highway until we have passed your border.
Probably He may have misinterpreted them thinking that they wanted to attack him yet in actual sense they did not want to attack Him.  They only wanted a pass way through His land
But instead He attacked  those that had come with their request of due to the extent that He Numbers 21:23-24
[23]But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his border. Instead Sihon gathered all his people together and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz, and he fought against Israel.[24]And Israel smote the king of the Amorites with the edge of the sword and possessed his land from the river Arnon to the river Jabbok, as far as the Ammonites, for the boundary of the Ammonites was strong. As thus,He was defeated through failure of showing kindness to the Israelites when they needed His help.
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) As realised upon to context, For what reason did the Israelites send their messengers to sihon king of the Amorites?
b) Did The king of the Amorites guarantee their request or he didn’t guarantee their request
c) What did he do when he failed to guarantee their request ?
d) Give an exclamation of due as related upon in perspective
e) What would be some of the lessons you learn from our context study
*Confession prayer*
Dear Lord Jesus I come before you today, I pray that you will give me the grace to be kind to people in Jesus name Amen

JOB WOULD SEND FOR HIS CHILDREN AND PURIFY THEM AFTER THE BANQUET JOB 1: 5

JOB WOULD SEND FOR HIS CHILDREN AND PURIFY THEM AFTER THE BANQUET
JOB 1: 5
We have to be careful about what we do when we have social meet ups
A banquet is a celebrated mode of action amongst friend’s and relatives
There are many thing’s that people do whenever they have social meet ups.
Some social meet ups or banquets in celebration  are characterised by music, dance drinking wine e t c and sometimes we sin before the LORD as confounded in these celebrations
Job’s son’s usually would hold banquets on various occasions whenever they would wish.
* When job’s seven son’s had banquets they would always invite their three sisters to be part of those banquets which they organise however job as a man who fears the LORD would do something to them after every banquet that they had .Job 1:4[4]His sons used to go and feast in the house of each on his day (birthday) in turn, and they invited their three sisters to eat and drink with them. [Gen. 21:8; 40:20.]
He would purify them so that if in any case they may have sinned before the LORD they would be forgiven Job 1:5[5]And when the days of their feasting were over, Job sent for them to purify and hallow them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed or disowned God in their hearts. Thus did Job at all [such] times.
Reflective questions  about the teaching
a) According to way of word, what would Job do  to his children after every banquet?
b) Why is it that Job had to purify his son’s after their banquet ceremony to an extent of offering burnt offerings to the LORD on all their behalf?
c) What streamlined context of view do you perceive as realised upon?
d) What are some of the lessons you learn from our subject study
*Confession prayer*
Dear Lord Jesus.  Give me the grace to be much careful about all that which is observed at my service whenever I engage in social meet ups AMEN

IS it because there’s no God in Israel? Put your nation..

IS it because there’s no God in Israel? Put your nation..
Is it that there is no God in your nation…………….
Many time’s the solace of our predicament is realised by what we have chosen to do with our lives and from those that we have given the highest esteem in view to how our lives concerns are .
It’s important to know that there is no other God other than the almighty the creator and nothing else should be equated to His glory or majesty
When king Ahaziah fell from the lattice of his window. He fell and got an injury and when he got that injury he sent his messengers to baal-zebub the god of Ekron in order that they consult from him on whether he is going to die or live. 2 Kings 1:2[2][King] Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria and lay sick. He sent messengers, saying, Go, ask Baal-zebub, the god of [Philistine] Ekron, if I shall recover from this illness.
What He did was bad to the extent that is portrayed the hunger of the LORD  who through The angel of the LORD appeared to elijah and asked him to meet the messengers of the king ahaziah in order to say to them..is it because there is no God in Israel
2 Kings 1:3]But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king in Samaria and say to them, Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? As thus king Ahaziah died to the account of wanting to seek decision from the god of Ekron instead of the almighty God
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What does this teaching relate to your everyday life?
b) Why do you think King Ahaziah sent his messengers to Ekron? Didn’t he know that Israel had God almighty as the king
c) Acknowledge reference of note as realised in perspective
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I come to you. In all I do I will lean on you and consult from you as far as the predicaments of my life are concerned.  Amen

WHY JOB OFFERED a BURNT offering for His children

WHY JOB OFFERED a BURNT offering for His children
I really want us to know that Job loved His seven boy’s and three girls that The LORD had given him before they died. He cared for his children as a father would care for his children
In those day’s people would offer offerings to The LORD for the sin that may have been committed by themselves , friend’s or relatives in order to atone for that sin which they would have done.
After job’s children had celebrated their birthdays, Job would offer a BURNT offering to the LORD on their behalf in perspective to perhaps they may have sinned before the LORD or disowned God in their heart’s Job 1:4-5[4]His sons used to go and feast in the house of each on his day (birthday) in turn, and they invited their three sisters to eat and drink with them. [Gen. 21:8; 40:20.][5]And when the days of their feasting were over, Job sent for them to purify and hallow them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed or disowned God in their hearts. Thus did Job at all [such] times.
As thus may we also be concerned about our way of life and walk in repentance
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to relation of note, why did Job offer burnt offerings to the LORD?
b) What may be some of the lessons in due you learn from our purpose study
c) Give an analysis of due as realised upon in our context study
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I come before you today- I ask for your forgiveness for whatever wrong I may have done in Jesus name Amen

WE SHOULDN’T SEGREGATE DISCIPLES BASING ON THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION.

WE SHOULDN’T SEGREGATE DISCIPLES BASING ON THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION.
From a realised perspective to analogy, we note  that some of us have pride but we do not even know that we have pride. We have a negative feeling towards those who are still struggling.  To those who don’t have anything for sure
Many Christians today think like the people of the world .
They have become observer’s of other people’s financial situations with less concern for their divine mandate .
When they realise a disciple who has money they want to hang around with that disciple all the time and when they realise a brother who is still struggling they don’t attach any value to that person because of his present circumstances in view not knowing that life can change for good  for that person they considered irrational
They only want to hang around those who have money and those who are in their validation of interest in terms of status and position.
The bible forbids us from being hardhearted or tightfisted towards a poor brother Deuteronomy 15:7[7]If there is among you a poor man, one of your kinsmen in any of the towns of your land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not harden your [minds and] hearts or close your hands to your poor brother;
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to our reflection of due, what is that which we shouldn’t do against our poor friend’s?
b) Should we segregate disciples basing on their financial situations
c) Is it right to segregate disciples basing on their financial situations
d) What would be some of the lessons in view you percieve from our teaching
e) What is the relatibility of this teaching as compared to our day to day life.
f) Give some of the lessons in view you learn from our teaching
g) Why is it that many of our Christian brothers and sisters are good at segregating people
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus we come before you today, we repent for closing in our hands for the poor brethren.  Forgive us.. wash us and cleanse us in Jesus name Amen

DO YOU HAVE AN INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST AND OF GOD

DO YOU HAVE AN INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST AND OF GOD
It’s important that you analyse this teaching through purpose of word for your spiritual elaboration to illumination
In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians he tells them something as dared to our relation of day to day life.
He tells them about those who have an inheritance in the kingdom of christ and those who don’t have an inheritance in the kingdom of christ
Paul tells them that no person.  ..
Practicing sexual impurity in thought or in life, who is covetous has an inheritance in the kingdom of christ Ephesians 5:5[5]For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain]–for he [in effect] is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What does Paul the Apostle tell the Ephesians to be sure of?
b) Analyse contentment of due as realised upon
c) Do you have an inheritance in the kingdom of christ? If so how sure are you of your inheritance in the kingdom of christ
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus , am grateful for this insight in view and that I have an inheritance in your kingdom in Jesus name Amen
