LEADING PEOPLE REQUIRES ” WISDOM” AND KNOWLEDGE.

LEADING PEOPLE REQUIRES ” WISDOM” AND KNOWLEDGE.
Because this was in your heart
Before God  appeared to Solomon in the night,  He knew what was in the heart of Solomon. 2 Chronicles 1:[11]God replied to Solomon, Because this was in your heart and you have not asked for riches, possessions, honor, and glory, or the life of your foes, or even for long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may rule and judge My people over whom I have made you king,
Have you ever wondered what was in the heart of Solomon even before God appeared to Him in the night .  What was in the heart of Solomon was a desire for wisdom so that he may be able to lead the people of God as he was thus meant to lead the people of God

In this dot com generation where many of our people are almost informed  about everything you can’t lead them without wisdom or knowledge as it is a generation of studied millennials who know how systems work world wide .
You can’t lead a church without wisdom or knowledge
you can’t lead any social enterprise without wisdom and knowledge.
you can’t be given any place of purpose in government when you have no required knowledge, wisdom or experience to govern it
You can’t lead people without _wisdom and knowledge._
When God appeared to Solomon in the night, God gave him an opportunity to ask what he wanted to ask from the LORD but the man did not ask for many thing’s.  The man did not ask for a flight ticket. He  asked him what do you want me to give you.
Solomon’s answer was  Wisdom so that He may lead his people 2 Chronicles 1:7-10[7]That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask what I shall give you.[8]And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy and loving-kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.[9]Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
[10]Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this Your people who are so great?
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) Why did Solomon chose to tell God to give him wisdom in first place instead of thing’s that seem like they are of credit to human will.
b ) What is that which was in the heart of Solomon before God appeared to Him in the night
c) What would be some of the lessons in view you learn from our subject study
d) Give an understanding as related upon concerning our subjectivity of note
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I thank you for your word and will and determined to see that my life begins to progress from one level to another level in Christ name Amen

DON’T GIVE AN OFFERING TO THE LORD IF YOUR HEART IS NOT WILLING

DON’T GIVE AN OFFERING TO THE LORD IF YOUR HEART IS NOT WILLING
IS YOUR HEART WILLING TO GIVE TO THE LORD OR UNWILLING TO GIVE TO THE LORD
The biggest exploitation that has lowered down people’s hunger for God  today in church is about the misuse of people’s resources that they give to the work of God.
People’s resources have been misused  to the extent that many of God’s people have ended up giving up when it comes to the offerings that they should bring to the house of the LORD however
You shouldn’t give to  God if your heart is not willing to give. when you do that your offering will be detestable To the LORD and to the people that you have given it to.
When The LORD commanded Moses to tell the Israelites to bring an offering to the LORD. There was a pronunciation in due that whoever is to give to the LORD must be willing to give to the LORD.  That person must be willing not unwilling to give to the LORD as thus expressed in like manner  The LORD said that the offering should be from  everyone whose heart is willing to give Exodus 35:5 [5]Take from among you an offering to the Lord.Whoever is of a willing and generous heart , let him bring the Lord’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze; as thus
Whatever we give to the LORD should come from a willing and a generous  heart to give
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What is that which we shouldn’t give to the LORD if our hearts are not willing?
b) Have you ever given an offering to the LORD out of a heart which is not willing or generous to give to the LORD

d) What is the applicability of this teaching as related upon to our modern day to day purpose of life
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I render my heart before you, my everything before you. Discipline me towards the fulfilment of divine purpose that I may know you and you alone as I tarry in this world in Jesus name Amen

I spoke to you in your prosperity but you didn’t listen. JEREMIAH 22:21

I spoke to you in your prosperity but you didn’t listen. JEREMIAH 22:21
There is a way some people avoid God when they become financially stable  in terms of life status .
They tend to think.
Their money is everything
Their riches are everything.
God spoke to Coniah son of Jehoiakim in his prosperity but he couldn’t listen Jeremiah 22:[21]I spoke to you in your [times of] prosperity, but you said, I will not listen! PREACH THE MESSAGE THAT I TELL YOU

PREACH THE MESSAGE THAT I TELL YOU.
Jonah 3:2[2]Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.
Part of the preaching we preach now day’s is solemnly realised from our personal experiences in life and not necessarily by instruction from God.
When Jonah was instructed by the LORD  to go to the nation of Nineveh, he was told not to just preach any message to the people but  to preach a message which he would be instructed to preach by the LORD as thus to reconciliation of view from his previous predicaments Jonah 3:2
[2]Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.
As thus Jonah was able to preach the message which he had been instructed to preach by The LORD saying Jonah 3:4[4]And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown!

STAND UP JOSHUA ( WHY ARE YOU CRYING OUT TO ME)

STAND UP JOSHUA ( WHY ARE YOU CRYING OUT TO ME)
Transgressing The Lord’s covenant
So many thing’s happen in our lives we have no revelation or understanding  about except God.
God knows why your situation is the way it is as it is Him who can explain it better to you.
Joshua lies to the ground  as due to failure of overcoming his enemies
The LORD tells Him.
Stand up… Why are you crying out to me Joshua 7:10-12[10]The Lord said to Joshua, Get up! Why do you lie thus upon your face?[11]Israel has sinned; they have transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. They have taken some of the things devoted [for destruction]; they have stolen, and lied, and put them among their own baggage.[12]That is why the Israelites could not stand before their enemies, but fled before them; they are accursed and have become devoted [for destruction]. I will cease to be with you unless you destroy the accursed [devoted] things among you.

WHOSE DELIGHT IS IN THE INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD.

WHOSE DELIGHT IS IN THE INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD.
WE ARE SUPPOSED TO MEDITATE ON THE LAW OF THE LORD DAY AND NIGHT
There shouldn’t be count of time that we should ever fail to meditate on the law or the instruction  of the LORD
You can’t fail to be happy as long as you continually delight in the instruction of the LORD.  People who are never happy are those who don’t delight in the LORD’S instruction
We are in a world where many lives have been mixed with the order of the day.
Their delight is in other thing’s other than in the instructionof the LORD
The bible talks about how Happy a man is whose delight is in the instruction of the LORD.Psalm 1:2[2]But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. [Rom. 13:8-10; Gal. 3:1-29; II Tim. 3:16.] As thus.
Our delight should be in the law of the LORD

Maher-shalal-hash-baz

Maher-shalal-hash-baz

Isaiah listened to The LORD concerning His  child’s name from The LORD

It’s really important to do that which God has ordered to your step not just that which you want to do by an imaginative perspective of vision or philosophy.

When Isaiah got a SON.  He and his wife may have thought about to give him a name that is subject to their demand yet God had a name in perspective which He wanted to be named to Isaiah’s SON which is

Maher- Shalal- hash- baz Isaiah 8:3[3]And I approached [my wife] the prophetess, and when she had conceived and borne a son, the Lord said to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz [as a continual reminder to the people of the prophecy], as thus when the LORD ever speaks to you about any predicament to demand you have to act in response to the purpose of His will

WE SHOULDN’T DEFEND EVIL BUT FIGHT EVIL.

WE SHOULDN’T DEFEND EVIL BUT FIGHT EVIL.
The character lesson for today as realised upon to our fervency of speech is that we shouldn’t defend evil or protect those that have done bad to other’s lest we realise upon ourselves the blood of their condemnation for that which they have been able to do
We shouldn’t be like those of the tribe of Benjamin who tried to  protect and defend those that had raped the concubine of the levite Judges 19:25[25]But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and forced her forth to them, and they had intercourse with her and abused her all the night until morning. And when the dawn began to break, they let her go.
As thus, The people of Benjamin  were defeated as due to their contempt of not wanting to surrender the men who had raped the concubine of the levite
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to our teaching in view, is it wisdom to defend and protect those that have done evil to other’s?
b) What did the men of Gibeah do to the concubine of the levite man?
c) Is that which the men of Gibeah did appealing to our Christianity?
d) Give some of the lessons in view you learn from our subject study not to do and do
e) According to criticism , were the other tribes of Israel right to attack the tribe of Benjamin?
f) Draw an analysis of due as realised upon to note
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I pray and confess in like manner that I will not defend evil in Jesus name Amen
