GOD TESTS US IN ORDER TO DO US GOOD IN THE END

From an absolute perspective we realise that there is no great man in the bible who wasn’t tested by God.  

It’s important to acknowledge purpose of note why God does tests us. 

God doesn’t test us because he doesn’t love us. God tests us because he loves us and that he actually has a great plan for whatever relates to our destiny.

He tested the Israelites by making them go through the great and terrible wilderness with it’s poisonous snakes and scorpions.. a thirsty land where there was no water Deuteronomy 8:15-16[15]Who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water, but Who brought you forth water out of the flinty rock,[16]Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end.

a) From reconciliation of view according to our teaching, why did God test the Israelites ?

b) Why does God test us?

c) Do we sometimes realise that we are under God’s test 

Dear Lord Jesus am grateful that through the tests I go through 

Question? Why is it that people forget what they were created to be and to do upon contrast of world success?

Many people’s lives are maimed by world success whilst forgetting what they were created to do and to be 

What you have been accounted to do in your generation is nothing else other than to serve God’s purpose in your generation just as David did Acts 13:36[36]For David, after he had served God’s will and purpose and counsel in his own generation, fell asleep [in death] and was buried among his forefathers, and he did see corruption and undergo putrefaction and dissolution [of the grave].

From relativity of purpose we realise that 

If we don’t serve the purpose of God in our generation we would have failed God, ourselves and those who know us. 

a) What happens when we don’t serve the purpose of God in our generation?

b) What does it mean to serve the purpose of God in your generation 

c) Are you serving God’s  purpose in your generation?

d) Give a realised perspective as per to adjacent of note

Dear Lord Jesus I pray that you give me the grace to serve your purpose in my generation just like David who served the purpose of God in His own generation

Recently I had a conversation with some people who don’t agree with the reality of spiritual existence or eternity . Their views were liberalized by conservatism of the human mind and not by spiritual knowledge or insight.  As I concluded the discussion with them I told them that the thing’s of the spirit are foolishness to the world because the people of the world can’t understand them 1 Corinthians 2:14[14]But the natural, non spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

Eternal life simply means life without inclusion of end but there is a pre requisite for us to have that life which has no inclusion of end. 

Jesus said that whoever 

Believes Him who sent me.. has eternal life

whoever hears my words has eternal life 

When you read the bible you will discover that eternal life is not just a predicament of the future.  It is not only what will happen to us after death but we already have eternal life John 5:24[24]I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.

As thus, we should be cheerful that we have and possess eternal life 

a) Who did Jesus say has eternal life? 

b) From a defined perspective of due, what is eternal life?

c) Give an underlined perspective of view in purpose to our teaching 

Dear Lord Jesus I am glad that now I possess eternal life.

” The service of the tent of meeting” 

The offerings that are brought in the house of the Lord should be used primarily to expand the agenda of God  on earth. 

They should be used to pay for bible printing, pay for ministry literature  meet the costs of ministry sustainability and for whatever service that entails the work of God 

When the Israelites leaders brought an offering before the Lord.  Moses didn’t hurry to accept the offering without the Lord’s go ahead

When the Israelites leaders presented an offering to the Lord on the day Moses anointed and consecrated the tabernacle.Numbers 7:1[1]ON THE day that Moses had fully completed setting up the tabernacle and had anointed and consecrated it and all its furniture, and the altar and all its utensils, and had anointed and set them apart for holy use,

They brought as their offering before the lord Six covered carts  a cart from every two leaders and an ox from each one and presented them infront of the tabernacle.

Then the LORD said Accept these from them Numbers 7:4-5[4]Then the Lord said to Moses,[5]Accept the things from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service.

a) If Moses had not received a go ahead from the Lord to receive these people’s offerings.. would He still receive their offerings?

b) Why do you think it’s important to listen to the Lord 

c) In what ways is this teaching purposeful as related upon to our way of life 

d) Give an understanding of view as related upon to perspective 

e) For what purpose did the Lord say the offerings that were brought by the Israelites leaders should be used to do? 

Dear Lord Jesus I pray that you will give me the mind to do what is after your will for my life. Amen

Today I opened my Facebook to check a few thing’s and when I opened I realised that the devil had already Gazetted pictures and videos that would certainly engage my eye’s to destruction and so that is what the world has become all around us so may the spirit of God help us to have a limitation of what we watch on social media lest we become instruments of sexual perversion  

Sexual lust is one of the thing’s that has degraded this generation of it’s glory.

The devil uses sexual lust to convince you to his consolation that even when you keep on lusting after other people. it is ok with you 

Jesus  said that when you look at a woman lustfully, you have already committed adultery with her in your heart Matthew 5:28 [28]But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

c) What relation does this teaching have as compared to our day to day life 

Dear Lord Jesus .. keep me in the power of your spirit to align in your will AMEN 

It’s very important for us to ask ourselves how we perceive and what we perceive when it comes to giving to the work of the LORD 

The Israelites gave for the construction of the tabernacle until what they gave was more than enough towards the work that was yet to be worked on to the extent that since what they had brought was more than enough.  

Moses decided that they should be stopped Exodus 36:5-6[5]And they said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the Lord commanded to do.[6]So Moses commanded and it was proclaimed in all the camp, Let no man or woman do anything more for the sanctuary offering. So the people were restrained from bringing,

The work of God  is a collective responsibility.  Each one of us should give to the work of God.  It may not necessarily be money but anything that you may render for the house of the Lord in due to divine mission. 

Dear Lord Jesus we pray that you give us a sincere desire to give towards the work of the Lord 

WHEN YOU DON’T LISTEN TO THE LORD YOU BECOME OF NO USE TO HIM.

Some people today don’t realise that they have become profitable for nothing in as far as the Lord’s purpose is concerned. 

They have refused to carry out the purpose of God upon their lives

They have refused to do that which The Lord has instructed to their way

What some people don’t realise is that whenever they do not listen to the Lord as per to what The Lord has instructed them to do.  Whenever they don’t harken to the instruction of the Lord.  They become of no use to the LORD.

They become like that Linen underwear Jeremiah 13:10 [10]These evil people, who refuse to hear My words, who walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and have gone after other gods to serve them and to worship them, shall even be like this girdle or waistcloth, which is profitable for nothing. As thus may we pray and ask the Lord to give us the grace so that we may be profitable to the purpose of His kingdom

a) According to our reflection perspective, what happens when we do not listen to the instruction of the Lord?

b) Do you want to be profitable for nothing?

c) How come many people today are profitable for nothing?

d) Underline purpose of note as due to our subject study 

Dear Lord Jesus help me not to be profitable for nothing before you in Jesus name amen 

People now day’s are delayed to do certain thing’s because of some predicaments whatsoever 

But your delay can sometimes be an hindrance to what the Lord has purposed to do in your life and with your life

When the Israelites delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord had given to them..Joshua asked them a question saying.  Why have you delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord has given you Joshua 18:3[3]Joshua asked the Israelites, How long will you be slack to go in and possess the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?Joshua 18:4[4]Provide three men from each tribe, and I will send them to go through the land and write a description of it according to their [tribal] inheritances; then they shall return to me.

a) According to perspective, which people delayed to possess the land which the Lord had given them?

b) What do you think may be one of the reasons as to why these people delayed to take possession of the land which the Lord had given them?

c) Give an analysed approach of due as related upon in perspective 

Dear Lord Jesus I come to you today and I pray that I will not delay to take part of what you have destined towards my life for the future in Jesus name Amen 

The challenge with many people now day’s is that they accept thing’s anyhow from people without inquiring of the Lord even when some of these thing’s may not be extremely conversant to their spiritual desire 

Don’t just accept thing’s anyhow in form of money, cars, gifts. Some of these thing’s you have to ask the Lord on whether you should receive them from those that have offered them to you.

 When the Israelites leaders brought offerings when Moses anointed and consecrated the tabernacle. The LORD said to Moses. Accept Numbers 7:4-5[4]Then the Lord said to Moses,[5]Accept the things from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service.as thus we shouldn’t just accept thing’s from people anyhow 

a) According to our teaching in view, should we accept thing’s anyhow from people?

b) Do you take time to inquire from the Lord before you accept some things from people 

c) Let us say, If The LORD had not spoken to Moses to accept these offerings from the people would he have accepted them?

d) What offerings did the leaders of Israel bring to the Lord as realised in perspective?

e) What did The Lord say Moses should use these offerings for?

f) Whom did The Lord say to Moses.. These offerings should be given to according to their purpose of service?

g) Give an acclamation of due as resulted upon in our teaching 

Dear Lord Jesus I pray that I will be instructed in your will concerning all that which you have called me for and that I will bring an offering to you that gives you glory and honour 

A Sabbath is a consecrated day of spiritual activity when we must gather with other’s to worship the LORD 

Today we have people who go to church on Sunday and those who go to church on other day’s as indifferent to their spiritual perspectives 

We also have those who don’t go to church at all in excuse that God is everywhere and that they find no need to go to church when God is everywhere 

There are things that God doesn’t give you an option to delude about especially whatever concerns fellowship and spiritual activities in view He doesn’t give you an option to think of whether you will do it or not but rather that you must do it according to the practice of all that He has observed you to do.

The LORD told Moses to tell the Israelites on how 

They must observe the Sabbath – for the Sabbath is a sign 

The Sabbath was a sign between God and the Israelites Exodus 31:13[13]Say to the Israelites, Truly you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you [set you apart for Myself].as thus we too should observe the day’s of our spiritual fellowship in gathering that have been set before us by our spiritual leaders
