THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION

THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION
Matthew 7:13.
From an informed perspective we realise that it’s the road that you take that leads you to the destination that you have decided to go to
The road that leads you to your work place may not be the same road that leads to your church.  The road that leads to your village may not be the road that leads to your work.
Jesus spoke about the road that leads to destruction.  Destruction has a road which you could either decide to journey on or not
Jesus talks about the road that leads to destruction as wide. Jesus says many people go through that road. Matthew 7:13[13]Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. As thus I pray that will be sure about the road that you have decided to journey
Reflective questions about the teaching

b) Which category of people did Jesus say journey to the road that leads to destruction?
c) Analyse purpose of note as related upon to incidence?

e) Give some of the lessons that you learn from our study of perspective
Confession prayer.
Dear Lord Jesus, am grateful for this insight that is directing me and leading me to the purpose of your will so as not to lead to the road that leads to destruction.  Help me keep in touch with the knowledge of your will for my life in Jesus name Amen

SO THAT YOU MAY GROW BY IT.

SO THAT YOU MAY GROW BY IT.
You must grow in your salvation
Growth is a process through which you move on from one level of understanding, perception, wisdom and knowledge to another level and one of the thing’s that must happen in your salvation is Growth
There are many people who have not grown in their salvation, they are not actually and practically growing because they lack a sincere desire of the word of God in them. They don’t have any desire for the word of God. They don’t have any desire with anything that constitutes purpose of scripture
You don’t grow in your salvation by a lot of preaching or exhaustion of spiritual gymnastics.
You grow in your salvation by the word of God ( The spiritual Milk ) of the word  as related upon in 1 Peter 2:2 1 Peter 2:2[2]Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation,
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) As realised upon to notification, how can a child of God grow in their salvation?
b) Are you growing in your salvation?
c) If so, what shows you are growing in your salvation
d) What would be some of the lessons in view you learn from our spiritual teaching
e) Why is it that many of our people have no desire with whatever constitutes purpose of scripture?
f) Do you have a desire with whatever constitutes purpose of scripture
g) In what ways can we have a desire that constitutes purpose of scripture
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I pray that you will draw in me a desire that constitutes purpose of your word that I may desire for you more than anything I have ever experienced in life Amen

IF THE LORD IS GOING TO KEEP YOU IN THE CONDUCT OF HIS PROMISE YOU HAVE TO BE HOLY.

IF THE LORD IS GOING TO KEEP YOU IN THE CONDUCT OF HIS PROMISE YOU HAVE TO BE HOLY.
If the Lord is going to keep you in the conduct of his promise for your life’s journey you have to be holy.
You can’t achieve the purpose of God for your life as long as you continue to live a life that is double minded
Holiness is what will keep you in the purposes of God
When the Israelites were going to settle in the land that the LORD had promised them.  He gave them instructions that they were to observe in order for them to stay successful in the land of the promise
The LORD told them to (Keep) what…  all His Statutes and the LORD’S ordinances  Leviticus 20:22[22]You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out [as it did those before you]. [Lev. 18:28.] As thus, we too should keep the LORD’S statutes so that we may not be vomited from the places where The LORD has put us

WE MUST DO WHAT THE LORD HAS INSTRUCTED US TO DO

WE MUST DO WHAT THE LORD HAS INSTRUCTED US TO DO
There are certain thing’s that you must do especially when you have been instructed of those things by the LORD however complicated or unreasonable they may be
The word of the LORD come’s to Ezekiel in view of need. The LORD tells Ezekiel to pose a riddle & Speak a parable.. speak a parable to who in con text as thus referenced in perspective.  He is told to speak a parable to the house of Israel Ezekiel 17:1-3[1]AND THE word of the Lord came to me, saying,[2]Son of man, put forth a riddle and speak a parable or allegory to the house of Israel;[3]Say, Thus says the Lord God: A great eagle [Nebuchadnezzar] with great wings and long pinions, rich in feathers of various colors, came to Lebanon [symbolic of Jerusalem] and took the top of the cedar [tree].as thus we must be obedient to carry on the message that the LORD has instructed of us.

WHY THE LORD AFFLICTED KING UZZIAH?

Afflictions from the LORD.
WHY THE LORD AFFLICTED KING UZZIAH?
Some time’s people think that afflictions only come from the devil or from the poor living habits of our everyday life.
Afflictions too can come from the LORD as a result of how you have chosen to possess your self to the LORD in dishonour  and they can come from the LORD in a way you expect or in a way you may never expect.
The bible talks about  the king who was afflicted by the LORD with a skin disease that led to his death 2 Kings 15:5[5]And the Lord smote the king, so that he was a leper to his dying day, and dwelt in a separate house. Jotham the king’s son was over the household, judging the people of the land. [II Chron. 26:16-21.]
As thus we should avoid all scenarios that may bring us afflictions from the LORD.
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to our concept of note, What is an affliction?
b) Have you undergone through some afflictions? If so what were the afflictions that you went through?

THE PREDICAMENT AND JUDGEMENT OF SINFUL KING’S

THE PREDICAMENT AND JUDGEMENT OF SINFUL KING’S
ADMINISTER JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

NO ROYAL POWER/ ANY FORM OF MONEY POWER CAN AVERT THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD
At time’s when people are in big positions of governance they tend to forget that they will also  be judged equally as other’s are judged thereof
Some of them try to exploit other’s for their advantage.  They try to manipulate other’s for their advantage and use their positions to do that which is not after the purpose of God
No royal position or any form of money power can avert the judgement of God.
Whether you are a prince , a king, a president you will be judged according to the same standard as other’s will be judged as considerate to how you would have lived your life on earth.
The LORD sends Jeremiah to the palace of the king of Judah so  that He may announce certain words to the king that should be echoed to his hearing  as realised upon to our purpose of beseech Jeremiah 22:1-3[1]THUS SAYS the Lord: Go down to the house of the king of Judah and speak there this word:[2]Hear the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, you who sit upon the throne of David–you and your servants and your people who enter by these gates.[3]Thus says the Lord: Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver out of the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong; do no violence to the stranger or temporary resident, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.
As thus we should use our positions of power well to administer justice and righteousness
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) IS there any form of money power that can avert the judgement of God
b) According to our instruction in view, Who sent Jeremiah to the palace of the king of Judah?

LEADING PEOPLE REQUIRES ” WISDOM” AND KNOWLEDGE.

LEADING PEOPLE REQUIRES ” WISDOM” AND KNOWLEDGE.
Because this was in your heart
Before God  appeared to Solomon in the night,  He knew what was in the heart of Solomon. 2 Chronicles 1:[11]God replied to Solomon, Because this was in your heart and you have not asked for riches, possessions, honor, and glory, or the life of your foes, or even for long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may rule and judge My people over whom I have made you king,
Have you ever wondered what was in the heart of Solomon even before God appeared to Him in the night .  What was in the heart of Solomon was a desire for wisdom so that he may be able to lead the people of God as he was thus meant to lead the people of God

In this dot com generation where many of our people are almost informed  about everything you can’t lead them without wisdom or knowledge as it is a generation of studied millennials who know how systems work world wide .
You can’t lead a church without wisdom or knowledge
you can’t lead any social enterprise without wisdom and knowledge.
you can’t be given any place of purpose in government when you have no required knowledge, wisdom or experience to govern it
You can’t lead people without _wisdom and knowledge._
When God appeared to Solomon in the night, God gave him an opportunity to ask what he wanted to ask from the LORD but the man did not ask for many thing’s.  The man did not ask for a flight ticket. He  asked him what do you want me to give you.
Solomon’s answer was  Wisdom so that He may lead his people 2 Chronicles 1:7-10[7]That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask what I shall give you.[8]And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy and loving-kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place.[9]Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
[10]Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this Your people who are so great?
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) Why did Solomon chose to tell God to give him wisdom in first place instead of thing’s that seem like they are of credit to human will.
b ) What is that which was in the heart of Solomon before God appeared to Him in the night
c) What would be some of the lessons in view you learn from our subject study
d) Give an understanding as related upon concerning our subjectivity of note
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I thank you for your word and will and determined to see that my life begins to progress from one level to another level in Christ name Amen

DON’T GIVE AN OFFERING TO THE LORD IF YOUR HEART IS NOT WILLING

DON’T GIVE AN OFFERING TO THE LORD IF YOUR HEART IS NOT WILLING
IS YOUR HEART WILLING TO GIVE TO THE LORD OR UNWILLING TO GIVE TO THE LORD
The biggest exploitation that has lowered down people’s hunger for God  today in church is about the misuse of people’s resources that they give to the work of God.
People’s resources have been misused  to the extent that many of God’s people have ended up giving up when it comes to the offerings that they should bring to the house of the LORD however
You shouldn’t give to  God if your heart is not willing to give. when you do that your offering will be detestable To the LORD and to the people that you have given it to.
When The LORD commanded Moses to tell the Israelites to bring an offering to the LORD. There was a pronunciation in due that whoever is to give to the LORD must be willing to give to the LORD.  That person must be willing not unwilling to give to the LORD as thus expressed in like manner  The LORD said that the offering should be from  everyone whose heart is willing to give Exodus 35:5 [5]Take from among you an offering to the Lord.Whoever is of a willing and generous heart , let him bring the Lord’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze; as thus
Whatever we give to the LORD should come from a willing and a generous  heart to give
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What is that which we shouldn’t give to the LORD if our hearts are not willing?
b) Have you ever given an offering to the LORD out of a heart which is not willing or generous to give to the LORD
c) Realise some of the lessons in contrast you learn from this subject study.
d) What is the applicability of this teaching as related upon to our modern day to day purpose of life
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I render my heart before you, my everything before you. Discipline me towards the fulfilment of divine purpose that I may know you and you alone as I tarry in this world in Jesus name Amen

I spoke to you in your prosperity but you didn’t listen. JEREMIAH 22:21

I spoke to you in your prosperity but you didn’t listen. JEREMIAH 22:21
There is a way some people avoid God when they become financially stable  in terms of life status .
They tend to think.
Their money is everything
Their riches are everything.
God spoke to Coniah son of Jehoiakim in his prosperity but he couldn’t listen Jeremiah 22:[21]I spoke to you in your [times of] prosperity, but you said, I will not listen! This has been your attitude from your youth; you have not obeyed My voice.as thus to note concerning what Jeconia attitude to God was he faced the consequences of his actions
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) What was Coniah’s attitude from the days of His youth
b) Give an interesting perspective of due as realised upon to context
c) Why is it that some of us don’t listen to the LORD in our day’s of prosperity?
Confession prayer
Dear Lord Jesus am grateful for this insight of due in perspective to our reflective study and that I will listen to you always in Jesus name Amen

PREACH THE MESSAGE THAT I TELL YOU

PREACH THE MESSAGE THAT I TELL YOU.
Jonah 3:2[2]Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.
Part of the preaching we preach now day’s is solemnly realised from our personal experiences in life and not necessarily by instruction from God.
When Jonah was instructed by the LORD  to go to the nation of Nineveh, he was told not to just preach any message to the people but  to preach a message which he would be instructed to preach by the LORD as thus to reconciliation of view from his previous predicaments Jonah 3:2
[2]Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.
As thus Jonah was able to preach the message which he had been instructed to preach by The LORD saying Jonah 3:4[4]And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown!
Reflective questions about the teaching
a) According to realisation of due, what message was Jonah told to preach? What was this message that Jonah was told to preach all about?
b) How come most of the sermons now day’s are realised by people’s personal experiences in ministry and not necessarily from instructions from the LORD
c) Give an understanding of due as realised upon to reference
d) In what ways does our teaching relate to our day to day life
e) According to realisation of word.. which city is present day Nineveh?
f) What are some of the lessons in view you learn from our subject study
