We shouldn’t forget were our blessedness came from.
We shouldn’t forget what the Lord did for us. We shouldn’t ever forget where the Lord got us from
The Israelites celebrated the passover as a monumental covenant and still do throughout all generations as due in view to remember the wonders God did for them
When you look at the word of God.. you realise that all the way from the old testament the Lord’s Passover was well celebrated. Hezekiah the king celebrated the passover in the second month even when he did not celebrate due to the unsanctity of the priest’s in the time that it was supposed to be celebrated . 2 Chronicles 30:1-3[1]HEZEKIAH SENT to all Israel [as well as] Judah and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh to come to the Lord’s house at Jerusalem to keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel.[2]For the king and his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem took counsel to keep the Passover in the second month. [Num. 9:10, 11.][3]For they could not keep it at the set time because not enough priests had sanctified themselves, neither had the people assembled in Jerusalem.
Jesus too celebrated the passover as thus we should celebrate the Lord’s Passover in regard with keeping along the blessedness of Christian hope
