Many people find it easy to obey their parents more than the LORD. Then when we see. How about The Lord.

God gives an instruction to five kings which include

The Israelites celebrated the passover as a monumental covenant and still do throughout all generations as due in view to remember the wonders God did for them

When you look at the word of God.. you realise that all the way from the old testament the Lord’s Passover was well celebrated. Hezekiah the king celebrated the passover in the second month even when he did not celebrate due to the unsanctity of the priest’s in the time that it was supposed to be celebrated . 2 Chronicles 30:1-3[1]HEZEKIAH SENT to all Israel [as well as] Judah and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh to come to the Lord’s house at Jerusalem to keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel.[2]For the king and his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem took counsel to keep the Passover in the second month. [Num. 9:10, 11.][3]For they could not keep it at the set time because not enough priests had sanctified themselves, neither had the people assembled in Jerusalem.

Are you willing to loose your life for Jesus’s sake

Are you willing to loose your life for Jesus’s sake.

Prophet Uriah executed as a result of being God’s spokesman

Some people can’t sacrifice for anything that relates to divine purpose.

They can’t afford to even spend a night in the presence of the Lord .. they are all about themselves and to the interest that the world is willing to offer them

The bible talks about a prophet of the Lord who even when He fled to Egypt the king sent men to get him who later executed Him just because He spoke the same thing’s that Jeremiah was prophecying to the people and also to the land of Judah Jeremiah 26:20-23[20]And there was also a man who prophesied in the name of the Lord, Uriah son of Shemaiah of Kiriath-jearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land in words similar to those of Jeremiah.
[21]And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put [Uriah] to death; but when Uriah heard of it, he was afraid and fled and escaped to Egypt.
[22]And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan son of Achbor and certain other men [who went] with him into Egypt.[23]And they fetched Uriah from Egypt and brought him to Jehoiakim the king, who slew him [God’s spokesman] with the sword and cast his dead body among the graves of the common people.
