The blessings, opportunities and privileges that come with walking in the ways the Lord are numerable. They are more than what we can compare to anything
We realise that whenever we are not in our way towards the purpose of God we miss that which The Lord would have done to us.
The more you neglect the purpose of God over your life, The more you miss out all that which God has for you.
Jeroboam chose to do the exact opposite of the instructions and guidance provided by the Lord.Instead of following God, Jeroboam created two golden calves for worship.1 Kings 12:28-29[28]So the king took counsel and made two calves of gold. And he said to the people, It is too much for you to go [all the way] up to Jerusalem. Behold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
[29]And he set the one golden calf in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.
These idols were placed in the locations of Bethel and Dan.
Because of this specific act of disobedience, Jeroboam’s dynasty did not last long.
There is a direct correlation between the level of neglect toward one’s assignment and the loss of divine favor.
Realizing one’s departure from God’s way is essential to understanding what is being missed.
