The king’s passion for agriculture led him to establish and oversee numerous farms.
He employed a large workforce of laborers to manage and work on his agricultural lands as realised in 2 Chronicles 26:10[10]Also he built towers in the wilderness and hewed out many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowlands and in the tableland.
