PRIDE DESTROYS YOU BEFORE YOUR FALL

There is really nothing   special about you whether you drive a benz or mercerati 

Whether you stay in first world nations or third world nations 

We are all the same in God’s eye’s 

There is nothing that has destroyed people’s credibility in ministry like pride

When pride comes it comes slowly.  You begin to think that you can’t use any airline to travel.. you begin to think your much more special than other’s.  You begin to think that people have to sacrifice so much to meet you and that your a star of your repetition.  

You begin to think that ministry can’t move without you and without you God can’t accomplish what He has destined to accomplish 

God sent a message to Ahab concerning the  disaster that would be eminent in His life time but because Ahab humbled himself The Lord then said He would then bring the disaster instead during his son’s life time 1 Kings 21:29[29]Do you see how Ahab humbles himself before Me? Because he humbles himself before Me, I will not bring the evil in his lifetime, but in his son’s day I will bring the evil upon his house.

Dear Lord Jesus I ask you that you forgive me from any element of pride in me in Jesus name Amen.  

a) According to perspective, who humbled Himself before The Lord?

b) What was The Lord’s decision in this when Ahab humbled himself before the Lord 

c) When did The Lord say He would bring the distaster 

d) Give an understanding of due as realised upon to context.
