When God decides to call you, get ready for a rollercoaster ride filled with challenges—more than your average person who isn’t in ministry will ever face! Take Moses, for example. When God tapped him on the shoulder to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he was like, “Hold up, God! What if they ask me who sent me? Am I supposed to just say ‘Hey, it’s me, Moses’?” To which God replied, “Just tell them ‘I Am’ sent you.” Talk about a divine mic drop!
So, even when Moses was protesting like a college student trying to dodge a 9 AM class, God assured him, “Don’t worry, I’ve got your back.” So, as you navigate your own challenges in answering God’s call, remember: no matter how crazy things get, He’s right there with you. Just like that one friend who always shows up for late-night study sessions (or snack runs). Exodus 3:13-14[13]And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them?[14]And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!
