Re think about your priorities
Your ultimate goal should be to make sure you’re on the Lord’s good side—after all, He’s put in the effort to guide you on your journey!
Now, let’s take a literal approach for a moment: the Book of Life is kind of a big deal. It’ll decide whether you’re enjoying eternal bliss or taking a swim in the lake of fire. Yikes! Life is spiritual, and we ought to reflect on our earthly actions before we eventually leave this physical body.
All those deeds? They’ll be waiting for us as we stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
So, let’s not get too caught up in how religious or spiritual we think we are. What really matters is whether your name is in the Book of Life. The biggest thrill shouldn’t just be about showing up at church on Sundays; it should be knowing your name is written in that all-important Book of Life. So, remember, if your name isn’t found in there… well, let’s just say it’s time to rethink your priorities!Revelation 20:14-15
[14]Then death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
[15]And if anyone’s [name] was not found recorded in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.
