As I was relating subjectivity in view about the life of Jeremiah as He was sent on a mission by God far beyond which some of us can’t demostrate , I realise that having loyal friends who stand by you when everyone else is against you is a vital necessity in life.
You need people in your corner who will actively support you during times of widespread opposition.
The Bible highlights the story of a man named Ahikam, who was the son of Shaphan.Ahikam persuaded the court not to hand Jeremiah over to a hostile mob.The mob of people actively wanted to kill Jeremiah.Jeremiah 26:24[24]But the hand of Ahikam son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that he might not be given into the hands of the people to put him [also] to death.
And so we conclude that standing up for others in times of crisis is a powerful demonstration of friendship and support.
Delivering difficult truths, as Jeremiah did, can often provoke anger and opposition from the crowd and having a strong support system is essential when fulfilling challenging duties or callings.
